Nova-Tech hosted the FFA Officers from Sterling NE High School for a tour and Q&A with Teresa Grabowski, Grace Wei, and Kirk Feeney.  Nova-Tech believes these tours help kids learn about what Nova-Tech manufactures and about future employment opportunities.  Many thanks to Ms. Taylor Schultz and the Sterling FFA Officers for stopping at our facility.

Nova-Tech participated in the Centura Public Schools Career Fair. Teresa Grabowski and Kirk Feeney met with incoming Juniors and Seniors about career pathways and internship opportunities.

MARCH 18, 2021

Nova-Tech attended the Nebraska Dairy Show in Columbus. Fun fact: 80% of Nebraska's dairy producers attended this Show/Meeting.

FEBRUARY 25, 2020

Nova-Tech was an exhibitor at the Nebraska Dairy Conference in Columbus, Nebraska on February 25th, 2020. Along with the trade show and informational speakers, convention attendees enjoyed an ice cream bar, wine and cheese reception, and an evening banquet and award ceremony recognizing producers and key industry people in Nebraska.

FEBRUARY 16-19, 2020

Nova-Tech attended the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 16-19, 2020. This four-day event attracted over 15,000 veterinary professionals who complete continuing education, meet with exhibitors, and attend live events to inspire and entertain. The theme for this year's conference was "Discover Your Why".

FEBRUARY 13, 2020

Nova-Tech attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney Career Fair on February 13th, 2020. This event is a great opportunity for students to meet with employers from across the Midwest who are hiring for full-time positions.

JANUARY 22-24, 2020

Nova-Tech attended the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska as an exhibitor on January 22-24, 2020. This event promotes professional development, networking, and communications.

OCTOBER 15, 2019

Nova-Tech attended the Southeast Community College Career Fair on October 15th, 2019. SCC touts a 94% success rate for graduates who are employed or continuing their education.

JUNE 26, 2019

Mr. Kris Bousquet, Executive Director of the Nebraska State Dairy Association and the Midwest Dairy's Manager of Farmer Relations made a site visit to Nova-Tech and presented a current overview of the dairy industry.

FEBRUARY 17-20, 2019

Nova-Tech attended the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 17-20, 2019. WVC is known as one of the largest veterinary conferences in the world.

FEBRUARY 7, 2019

Nova-Tech was one of 100 employers who were on hand at The University of Nebraska at Kearney Career Fair on February 7th, 2019. This is the largest career fair UNK has on campus.

JANUARY 24-26, 2019

Nova-Tech attended the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association Conference in Kearney, Nebraska as an exhibitor on January 24-26, 2019. The NVMA strives to promote animal health, public safety and the human/animal bond relationship by providing education for its members.

Nova-Tech attended the Celebrating Nebraska Women in STEM event at Quarry Oaks Golf Club in Ashland, Nebraska on October 10th, 2018. Women in STEM support and encourage women in every field of science and technology, including entrepreneurs, industrial scientists, government and academic researchers, engineers and STEM educators.  Nova-Tech's own Board of Director, Gloria Thesenvitz, participated in the event as one of the Nebraska Women in STEM Board of Advisors.

Nova-Tech attended the UNK Fall 2018 Career & Graduate School Fair on October 4th, 2018 located at the campus's Health & Sports Center.  

SEPTEMBER 30, 2018

Nova-Tech was a sponsor at the AKSARBEN Purple Ribbon Auction alongside Multimin USA, Pathway Bank, HLG Packaging, Gideon Farms, and Gideon Show Pigs.  The show was established in 1928 by the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben with a mission of "producing an annual youth stock show celebrating the region's agricultural heritage which educates and benefits families."

SEPTEMBER 18 - 20, 2018

Nova-Tech attended Connect 2018 September 18th-20th, 2018 at the M Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. Connect is a conference that allows clients to express their needs and experiences and share tips and procedures to make work lives easier, as well as build and strengthen relationships. 

SEPTEMBER 12 - 14, 2018

Nova-Tech attended the 51st Annual Conference of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners in Phoenix, Arizona as an exhibitor September 12th-14th, 2018. This year’s conference had approximately 1,200 attendees including students, practitioners, veterinary technicians, and exhibitor representatives. Nova-Tech unveiled a new booth and display for the exhibit with new for Nova-Tech Animal Health. This conference was a good platform for insightful and informative interactions with customers and users.

AUGUST 20, 2018

Nova-Tech attended the KC Animal Health Corridor on August 20th and 21st, 2018 in Kansas City.  This annual event includes an exclusive gathering of animal health CEO's and industry leaders from across the country and around the world.

JULY 25 - 26, 2018

Nova-Tech attended the Animal Health In the Heartland symposium on July 25th and 26th, 2018. The event, sponsored by BioNebraska and IowaBio, was held at the Nebraska Innovation Campus. The Animal Health in the Heartland symposium provides an opportunity for key federal, state, and industry leaders to collaborate, discuss solutions and address the world's foremost animal health issues.

Nova-Tech attended the CNHRMA Conference on July 24th, 2018. The event was held at the Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island. 

MAY 16, 2018

Nova-Tech attended UNL’s Nanotech Workshop & Open House on May 16th, 2018. The event was held in Jorgensen Hall from 11:30 am until 4:00 pm. Event activities included equipment and measurement techniques, tours, breakout sessions led by business and academic presenters, and how to become new users of NNF equipment.

Nova-Tech attended the 2018 PTEA Meeting on April 10th, 2018 in Overland Park. The main topic of the event was Drug Development and Approvals. 

APRIL 9, 2018

Nova-Tech attended the Missouri Valley Chapter of the PDA’s Spring Dinner Event on April 9th, 2018 in Kansas City. The main topics of the event were CAPA, Change Management, and Risk Management.

Nova-Tech attended The Grand Island Independent Career Fair on March 15th, 2018. The event was held in the Bosselman Enterprises Community Room from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

FEBRUARY 7, 2018

Nova-Tech attended the UNK Career Fair on February 7th, 2018. The event was held in the Health & Sports Center from 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm.

In August the Production team spent 13 hours cleaning up the community by picking up trash on Locust, Schimmer, Highway 281, Wildwood, and Blaine.

Construction has begun on Nova-Tech's 33,000 square foot warehouse addition, located just East of the new manufacturing lines which are also undergoing a remodel.

Nova-Tech founder, Gloria Thesenvitz, wins 2019 Governor's Bio Science Award. The award recognizes individuals and companies making significant contributions to the Nebraska bioscience industry.

Gloria Thesenvitz named Independent's Woman of the Year.

Nova-Tech founder and current Chairman of the Board, Gloria Thesenvitz, was named The Grand Island Independent’s 2017 Woman of the Year. The Independent’s publisher, Don Smith, says Gloria’s "strength, tenacity, ingenuity and positive outlook are characteristics that have served her well in her professional career and her community service activities." Smith says, "She sets a great example for young women to follow. She has made a great impact on our community through various leadership roles." Cindy Johnson, president of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce says, "[Gloria] is not afraid to take smart risks and has persevered and prospered." Robert Pore’s article in The Grand Island Independent notes Nova-Tech’s significant growth and technological advancement under Gloria’s leadership, as well as her childhood, agricultural roots, desire to succeed, and personal satisfaction. Gloria says she was "humbled" by the recognition— "I know many of the other women who have received this honor. They are accomplished and amazing. OCTOBER 3, 2017

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts chose Nova-Tech, Inc. as the first stop on his month-long tour of Nebraska manufacturers for Manufacturing Month in Nebraska. Manufacturing is the state’s second largest industry, the first being agriculture.   Governor Ricketts toured the facility, being led by Nova-Tech President Teresa Grabowski and visited with other members of the management team.  For more information on this visit and Manufacturing Month in Nebraska please visit NTV News or the Grand Island Independent

Nova-Tech Inc. was honored by the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce during its annual meeting in March of 2017. Nova-Tech, represented by Gloria Thesenvitz, Teresa Grabowski, and Gary Thesenvitz, was the winner of the Hall of Fame Award. The Chamber produced the following video about Nova-Tech's success:

JANUARY 3, 2017

Bradford Evans has joined the Nova-Tech management team as Laboratory Control Manager.  Evans will oversee the duties and functions in the laboratory control system and ensure testing and other responsibilities are conducted timely and accurately within Nova-Tech's GMP aseptic fill manufacturing facility. 

FEBRUARY 1, 2016

Construction has begun on Nova-Tech's manufacturing addition, located just north of the existing plant.  The 22,000 square foot facility will be home to additional manufacturing lines.  

NOVEMBER 1, 2015

Nova-Tech has recently begun the use of its new temperature controlled 33,000 square foot warehouse. The construction of this warehouse was essential to keep up with the increasing market demand for Nova-Tech's products. The new warehouse has undergone temperature control mapping and testing to ensure the environment is ideal for storage. The additional space will assist in the efficient handling of logistical requirements.

JULY 20, 2015

In a progressive move, Nova-Tech has brought Marcus Brandl on board as Project Engineer.  Marcus has over 25 years of engineering, conceptualization and project management experience.  Marcus will oversee the design, construction, and completion of a 22,000 square foot manufacturing addition custom suited for Nova-Tech's upcoming bag line and small volume line.

Nova-Tech Marches Forward to Satisfy Market Demand with Investments in Facilities and Property

Nova-Tech located at 4705 Gold Core Road, Grand Island, Nebraska will make a multi-million dollar expansion in facilities and property acquisition in response to increased market demand and planned growth.  The addition of a new 33,000 square foot tempered warehouse is currently under construction with facility completion in August 2015. The new facility is necessary to provide logistics for raw materials and finished products to meet the ongoing and increased needs of the business.  In addition, to accommodate projected employee growth, a new and expanded parking lot with a 10 space capacity will be added to the existing company footprint.  The new parking addition is scheduled for completion in the Summer of 2015. Nova-Tech has purchased approximately 6.9 acres immediately north of the existing 8.6-acre company property footprint. The newly acquired property is contiguous to the existing manufacturing and office property and will provide the necessary square footage required for the company’s continued controlled growth.
