Gloria Thesenvitz

Chairman of the Board

Gloria Thesenvitz, founder and Chairman of the Board, started Nova-Tech, Inc. in 1988 and has guided the company through significant growth and technological advancement.  Gloria spearheaded the initial building and site transfer of the business in 2011 into a new 50,000-square-foot, aseptic fill pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, dedicated to the production of animal pharmaceuticals.  Since then Nova-Tech's production and technical capabilities have increased including two new additions, taking plant capacity to 139,700 sq ft.  She currently provides overall guidance to Nova-Tech with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability by supporting and assisting with the direction, goals, and objectives of the company.  She serves on the board of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, BioNebraska, Accelerate Nebraska and is the Governor's appointee to EPSCoR/IDeA Committee for the State of Nebraska.

A 29-year veteran of the company, Teresa Grabowski was most recently promoted to President.  As President, she provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership and management of a GMP aseptic fill manufacturing facility.  Along with management of staff, Teresa participates in the evaluation of new business and new product development in order to achieve all company initiatives, goals, and objectives.  As a key member of the Nova-Tech Executive Management Team, supports and assists with the development of the direction, goals, and objectives of Nova-Tech in order to provide the best quality product and excellent customer care.

Chris Schweitzer

Vice President of Operations

Chris Schweitzer joined Nova-Tech as the Operations Manager in 2007.  As the Vice President of Operations, he is responsible for development and continual monitoring of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the manufacturing processes within the facility.  He also plays a role in the equipment commissioning, including equipment specification, installation and operation.  Chris oversees the day-to-day operations in the facility and supervises the Production, Packaging and Labeling, and Material system staff.  Prior to joining Nova-Tech, he was employed at Schering-Plough (Merck) and STRECK Laboratories; in his 18 plus years of manufacturing experience, all but one have been in animal health pharmaceuticals.  Chris earned his biology degree from Chadron State College and completed the University of Nebraska Medical Center's biomedical research (BRIN) program.

Gary Thesenvitz

Vice President of Facilities and Equipment

Gary Thesenvitz earned a degree in machine tool technology from Southeast Community College. Since joining Nova-Tech as Plant Engineer in 2009, he has put his precision skills to work designing, purchasing and installing new equipment in addition to his responsibilities for routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics and investigation of equipment concerns. As Nova-Tech's Vice President of Facilities and Equipment, he is also responsible for all systems and utilities, including HVAC, water and the building management systems.

Jia Wei

Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs

Jia (Grace) Wei joined the company in 2005. As Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, she is responsible for leading and managing the Quality Unit to develop, implement, and monitor systems and activities to ensure appropriate CGMP compliance, customer, and business requirements are met.  She oversees the planning, management, support, and execution of regulatory activities.  She is an active member of our new business development and product launch team.  Prior to joining Nova-Tech, Grace attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney and earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry with an emphasis in molecular biology.  She is also a graduate of the Leadership of Tomorrow program.

Sheri McKinney

Chief Financial Officer

With 20 plus years of manufacturing industry experience in accounting, Sheri McKinney oversees all Nova-Tech accounting, financial, human resources, general administration, and systems administration functions.  She assists in evaluating new business and product development.  Sheri joined the Nova-Tech team in 2011 from JBS, where she held various positions of increasing responsibility.  Sheri earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Marcus Brandl

Project Engineer/Project Manager

Marcus Brandl holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Prior to joining the Nova-Tech team he was employed at BioNebraska with the responsibility of building a green-field GMP clean room facility, and at Tuttle, Inc as project engineer for multiple custom processing and manufacturing lines and automated equipment.
His responsibilities include design, installation, integration and/or upgrades of new and existing production equipment and utility systems, as well as the development and management of processes for future products

Brad Evans

Laboratory Control Manager

Brad Evans joined Nova-Tech in 2017. In his role as the Laboratory Control Manager, he directs all of the laboratory processes including testing of incoming raw materials, finished products, and stability studies. Brad has over twenty years of manufacturing experience in both the food and biotechnology industries, having served in multiple departmental leadership roles prior to joining Nova-Tech. He was the top of his graduating class, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction, majoring in Food Science and Technology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His protein research has been published in the Journal of Chromatography B: Biomedical Sciences and Applications.

Kirk Feeney
Kirk Feeney

Human Resources and Accounting Manager

Kirk Feeney joined Nova-Tech Inc in 2017.  He is the Human Resources and Accounting Manager.  Before coming to Nova-Tech, Kirk spent 15 years in Bobcat and John Deere dealerships including rolls as Accounting Manager, Human Resources Manager, Corporate Controller, and CFO.  Prior to that, Kirk was a public accounting.  Currently, he is responsible for the Human Resources Functions at Nova-Tech including the recruitment and retention of employees, payroll and payroll taxes, and employee benefits.  In addition, Kirk is also responsible for many of the accounting functions including month end processing and inventory controls.  Kirk earned his Accounting and Management bachelor’s degrees from Midland University.
